Stars explode and radiate their essence through vast light years. Gold flow supernovas carve sharp lines through time and space.

Our “Supernova” designs are the hallmark of our Big Bang collection and they are a major conversation starter! These babies are super texture layered which makes them super special. To make an exploding star, I first texture discs of sterling silver on my favorite rusty anvil. Next, I hand carve a burst pattern into the silver and then inlay 18 karat yellow gold into it using the heat of my torch. Then it’s time to oxidize the silver to make the gold “pop.” Finally, once all else is finished and I’ve set the diamonds, I hand carve back into the silver using a graver to create precise lines of sparkling bright silver. The effect is an explosion of texture and color that is totally drawn into the metal with hand and heat. Each “Supernova” is as unique as the stars themselves.
